Stand Out and Be Heard: 2010 Cactus Quill Awards Work Session
When was the last time your boss or client noticed how sharp you are? Winning a Cactus Quill Award can help you stand out and be heard. IABC/Tucson will help you put your entry together at a Jan. 26, 2010 morning work session.
Judges of chapter Quill awards programs will give you tips on how to focus your work plan for maximum effect. Bring your materials, an outline, a draft, your concepts or your questions to shape and hone your entry during the one-on-one session.
While at the session, you can save money by selecting from gently used office supplies to create your entry.

Attendees are asked to bring donations, be ready to stuff kits and share some time together.
You can find details on what to bring and where you can drop off donations if you can’t make the event at www.iabctucson.com.

IABC/Tucson officially has a booth at the Tucson Festival of Books March 13 and 14 where we hope to let the public know about business communicators and how they can network with colleagues. Current members will market their writing services and works and meet-up for lunch at the event’s food tent. We are looking for volunteers to staff the booth and members to add their own publicity efforts for books or services they provide. Watch for more details!
