Wins Tucson Cactus Quill Award
Michelle Rau’s entry earns merit honors from IABC/Tucson.

Michelle Rau won a 2010 Cactus Quill Award of Merit in the best-practices program presented by the International Association of Business Communicators, Tucson Chapter.
Rau is a communications specialist with the finance-software company and an IABC/Tucson member. She and her colleague on the project, Amanda Finfrock, were given certificates in a presentation at Intuit.
Rau’s “Company Picnic Communications and RSVPs” entry won praise from judges for its “attractive” campaign materials and “great” tactics and measurement.
The Cactus Quill Awards program recognizes best practices in business communications throughout Arizona.
Bohte Design LLC in Sierra Vista, owned by IABC/Tucson member Paula Bohte, sponsored this year’s program. Business communications professionals from the IABC chapter in Brazos Valley, Texas, judged the entries.
